Medical Marijuana or CBD? Which is for me?
To determine which would be best is between you and our doctor. Through a consultation it will be discussed which would be best at achieving the goals you hope to have. The primary goal is help bring your endocannabinoid system back to is optimum performance.
What is the Endocannabinoid System (ECS)?
The ECS is the single largest receptor system in the human body. It’s responsible for maintaining and regulating homeostasis. Someone with a fully functioning endocannabinoid system would be able to stay in complete homeostasis — perfectly healthy — with no pain or anxiety or sleep issues.
Endocannabinoids are perhaps the most important part of the multifaceted ECS. They’re tiny chemical compounds naturally produced by the human body. Anandamide (otherwise known as “the bliss molecule”) is the best-known endocannabinoid, though another one called 2-AG is actually more prevalent. These endocannabinoids are largely responsible for the natural ‘high’ someone feels after an intense workout or run.
As great as the endocannabinoid system is, its not bulletproof. Just like your stem cells, your body’s endocannabinoids can get depleted over time. This type of depletion invariably results in any number of problems with pain, anxiety, or sleep.
Some scientists think endocannabinoid deficiency is a modern-day epidemic. If you have any of its most common symptoms — which include pain and inflammation, autoimmune problems, and even the slow regeneration — a certain natural antidote is worth pursuing. That antidote, of course, is CBD through either medical marijuana orCBD oils.
